I'm Running, Whether You Want or Not

The Chron ran this photo of Chuck "Right Ear" Rosenthal leaving a meeting of Harris County GOP brass, which led to a unanimous call for Rosenthal to step aside. Ever the keen political operator, Chuck defiantly declared "I'm going to run and I'mg going to win." He couldn't have been more smug if he had been pounding messages on his county Blackberry as he did the perp walk in front of the media:

Dear Kerry, what a dreadful meeting at HCRP. I am not enjoying this. All that naging and cursing. If only you let me hold you. I love you. You want or not. xoxoxo

For the record, this is what it looks like when Chuck leaves an office. We assume he will be somewhat less gleeful when he leaves his office for good on Jan. 1, 2009.
